Co-op Administration:

Meredith Gray, Director
Meredith was raised in the sunny south and moved to Brooklyn at 18 to attend Pratt and become a famous artist. She has been here for sixteen years (minus one when she lived in Chiapas, Mexico and taught kindergarten and some unforgettable months in Australia). Meredith is a big fan of dancing, cheese and controlled chaos which makes her a perfect fit for The Co-op School!

Meredith has worked in public and private schools all over: from Fort Greene to East New York, from Harlem to the Lower East Side. She has been at the Co-op School since the beginning. She began as a lead teacher and director of a school that housed thirteen families. Eight years later the school has grown to occupy two buildings with one hundred and seventy families and a staff of thirty!

Maureen Boucher, Business Director
Maureen has been with the Co-op School since 2005, beginning as parent, then board member and treasurer. With the 2009 school expansion and move to our Irving Place location Maureen’s role evolved again to employee as Business Director. She enjoys being part of growing the thriving organism that the Co-op School is. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband, son and daughter.

Ellie Miller, Office Manager
Ellie has been a Co-op parent since 2007, becoming a board member in 2008 and now joining the staff as Office Manager in 2011.  Her love of list making — and more importantly, crossing items off said lists — has been a valuable part of the Co-op School's remarkable expansion.  She lives in Brooklyn with her husband, son and daughter.
